Farm infrastructure system categories¶
Purpose¶
Cross-site taxonomy for infrastructure line items in inventories and capital plans: water movement, electrical / on-site power, fencing and lanes, structures, roads and access, and communications / telemetry—linking matrix rows to entity pages where they exist.
Scope¶
- In scope: Category definitions; pointers to baseline worksheets.
- Out of scope: Parcel-specific measurements (those stay in site baselines and evidence packages).
Knowns¶
- Dedicated entity pages already exist for
Farm water infrastructure systemandFarm on-site power system. - Field telemetry is its own end-to-end entity (
Field telemetry network — two-site).
Assumptions¶
- Categories may overlap in the field (e.g. a pump is power + water); inventories still assign a primary bucket for planning.
