Evidence grade¶
Evidence grade describes how strongly a statement is backed for decision use: primary / regulatory (statute, agency manual, survey table), extension / technical handbook, modeled / worksheet (explicit assumptions), or exploratory (anecdote, forum, vendor marketing).
Canonical page: A wiki page that owns durable scope for a topic; not automatically “true,” but the place to edit when doctrine changes.
Usage: Prefer labeling authority in text (“NASS 2024 county estimate,” “TDEC rule set—verify with county”) over implying all analyses carry equal weight.
Full pattern: Evidence grade and canonical authority.
