Labor roles — two-site farm operations¶
Purpose¶
Generic labor buckets used in the two-site business-plan artifacts: who holds primary operating responsibility, who provides secondary / family capacity, where seasonal or contract labor might plug in, and how coverage windows interact with the distance tax—without duplicating full schedules.
Scope¶
- In scope: Role definitions and links to matrices / rhythms.
- Out of scope: Named individuals’ hours, wages, or employment contracts.
Knowns¶
- The ET package uses family labor and weekly rhythm analyses as canonical narrative.
- Coverage is a first-class operational constraint alongside capital and telemetry.
Assumptions¶
- Roles are overlapping in real life; the buckets are for planning clarity, not HR precision.

Related source notes¶
- None required at entity level—agency labor statistics land under the authoritative execution evidence cluster when cited in analyses.
Outstanding unknowns¶
- Actual staffing levels and skill gaps after enterprises are chosen (worksheet/evidence gap).
